The Set Table

Description

Setting a table is about more than just preparing for a meal; it is an expression of togetherness and community. A carefully set table provides the backdrop for autumn conversations and friendly gatherings, as well as fertile ground for creating memories. Throughout history, the way we set our tables has reflected the times. From the ritualistic dining arrangements of ancient civilizations to the lavish tables of the Baroque era, the presentation of a meal has always been an ever-evolving art form. Today, we set our tables with a blend of tradition and innovation, allowing personal expression to shine while marrying function with beauty. As autumn arrives and the evenings grow longer, Formstad once again invites you to our recurring themed auction, The Set Table. It is a season for hearty dinners, candlelight, and good company around the table. Whether you are looking for unique serving platters, elegant cutlery, exquisite glassware, or decorative accents for your autumn gatherings, you will find pieces here that set the perfect tone and elevate every meal.Show more
