Limhamn's Exclusive

Description

Limhamns Exclusive lives up to its name, giving us a concentrate of selected art, design, and antiques. A bowl in Flora Danica is displayed beside a Korean tea service in cloisonné, a Rolex of the more classic kind is presented alongside an example of Stig Lindberg's "Månfisken" ("The Moonfish"). And then we see two Farsta pieces by Kåge, a pair of German percussion-lock pistols with damascened barrels, and international prints are mixed with Swedish painting by, among others, Bengt Lindström. A Wurlitzer jukebox - "The Bubbler" - stands like a sculpture from the 1940s, lighting up its surroundings. And finally, the theme's main attraction: Leo Sewell's life-size metal horse. A mighty work of art that aligns with Dadaism's reuse of objects in art. All this, and quite a bit more besides, can be found in Limhamns lilla exklusiva. Welcome!Show more
