Description
Jonathan Carley, Thetford, a Regency mahogany cased bracket clock, c.1820, the brass inlaid case with gilded pinapple finial, drop ring side handles and raised on brass ball feet, registering on a circular 20cm dial, having Roman numerals, signed "Carley Thenford" (Carley is recorded as working in the Norfolk county c.1816-1845 information extracted from Brian Loomes book "Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World") the case sides are open, fitted with pierced brass scale grilles, fabric backed, the movement is double fusee powered, striking the hour on a bell mounted above the movement and features a pull repeat cord, exiting to the right of the case, the back plate is engraved "Carley, Thetford"

Condition: Good, I suggest it has had a full sympathetic movement and case restoration.
