the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, case maker's initials J.R., hallmarked for London 1853, the three quarter plate movement signed Robert Roskell, Liverpool, with engine turned decoration to both cases, foliate cartouche decoration to the front case, 50mm dia., 97.3 grams, together with an 18ct gold watch chain, formed with long and short links, 37.5cm long, 19.2 grams.
