Description
Crowned with a figure of Achilles. The piece is partly fire-gilded, with a dark patina, and features sections of yellow marble. The mechanism is fitted with a pendulum and string suspension; the tightening mechanism operates via a tightening disc to a single bell. Marked "Pons Honoré', c. 1827, France.
