The city of Vechta auctions here the mobile home (MH) Cosalt Cascade from 2004 described below. This mobile home was acquired at the end of 2022 by Vechta County to accommodate war refugees from Ukraine and other asylum seekers. In order to improve the management of the accommodation, these were converted from gas to electricity (heating, cooking station, light).   The Cosalt Cascade mobile home (built in 2004) is a classic and spacious British mobile home, known for its solid design and functional layout. The MH has an aluminium exterior cladding, a very flat sloping saddle roof with a low angle of inclination and 2 plastic entrance doors. The windows are double-glazed. The MH has a shunting drawbar, a tyred axle and rotating supports on which the mobile home is parked. All supply connections such as gas, drinking water and wastewater were separated from the central supply on site. Heat output: It provides direct convection heat in the main living room; the warm air is distributed in the room, but can require additional heating sources in larger, multi-room models without ventilation pipes in more distant rooms.   Because the width of 3.10 metres is rather narrow compared to modern models, the living room looks more spacious than the pure square metres, mainly due to the large window front on the front and the circular seating group built along the wall. The interior of Cosalt Cascade reflects the classic and cosy design of British mobile homes. Typical for models of this generation is the open and space-optimized design of the living and dining area.   Room layout in detail Living and dining area: The room extends over the entire vehicle width (inside dimension approx. 2.95 m) and uses a length of around 3.80 to 4.20 meters. This results in the mentioned 11 to 12.5 m2. It integrates the typical L-shaped corner bench, the Truma or gas fireplace and often a small dining table Living room: On the front side there is a spacious circular seating group (Eckcouch), which perfectly exploits the square under the panoramic windows. Opposite, the distinctive gas fireplace, integrated into a wooden cabinet wall, is placed. Dining area & Kitchen: The dining area connects directly to the sofa and consists of a fixed bench with a matching table. The kitchen is open as a U-shape and, despite its narrow construction, offers an amazing amount of work surface, a gas stove and hanging cabinets. A refrigerator is also available under the work surface. Decor: The interior is dominated by warm wood tones (beech or ash look) on the cabinets and walls, combined with monochrome upholstery fabrics. Kitchenette (kitchen): Connects directly open to the living room and occupies about 4 to 4,5 m2. Sleeping and sanitary area: The remaining 17 to 18 m2 are divided into the hallway in the rear part of the mobile home, the bathroom (with shower/WC) and the 2 to 3 narrow bedrooms.   The mobile home has a total of – 3 – bedrooms; the picture shows the two small rooms. The larger bedroom has a double bed. Typical construction of the bathroom The shower: Mostly a full-fledged, angular or slightly rounded shower cabin with integrated plastic walls and a glass door is installed. The washbasin: A classic standing washbasins made of white sanitary ceramics, above which a mirror and a small medicine or mirror cabinet are attached. The toilet: A normal standing toilet, which is placed directly next to the sink or opposite the shower.
