"Prayer." 6 verses of four lines each. "Year after year have I wrestled, and suffered pain for pain; but strong and uncompressed, my tormented heart riseth. - As the clouds clenched, so did my spirit rise with ever purer unfolding. So I beg of the wings / The Fulfillment is blowing around - / And yet fearing that my wrestling / In the hanging is sinking." - Clean handwriting, which apparently served as a printing template for a magazine, because it is inserted in the title of the editor's hand "Von Ferdinand von Saar", while the original name was deleted at the end. Also stains on the paper clearly originate from printer blackness. Billet m. U.
