Matador was • and still is • an extremely popular Danish television series, which was broadcast by DR (Denmark's Radio) between 1978 and 1982. The series, that consists of 24 episodes, depicts life in the fictional Danish provincial town of Korsbæk between 1929 and 1947. Provenance: Danish private collection.
