Possibly German monastic revival, 16th or 17th century, single sheet on vellum, handwritten in Gothic script with liturgical and devotional texts including Veni Creator Spiritus, Adsumus, the Ave Maria, the Pater Noster, and the Credo, numerous multi-line illuminated initials in burnished gold on fields of pink, blue, and white delicate penwork filigree, within decorative border incorporating four portrait miniatures representing the spiritual hierarchy, with wax archival pendant seal below, possibly of an Abbess, framed and double glazed, with later dedication verso, 49cm x 78cm overall.
