An elegant pair of early 19th-century Empire vases, crafted from fire-gilt bronze. The vases are exquisitely decorated with both floral and abstract motifs. Centrally positioned on the plinth is a portrait, framed by a richly decorated laurel wreck. On the other sides, the vases are decorated with a torch adorned with a star. The vases are fitted with characteristic handles in the shape of small rams heads.
