The power is supplied via an integrated 24-volt battery. In particular, care must be taken to ensure that the charger is not connected. Commissioning The red emergency-off switch must be unlocked. The control system then starts automatically and performs a system check. Attention! When switching on, neither hands on the handlebar nor objects on or between the handle bar and the control unit shall be located. After successful system testing, the displays for battery voltage and operational readiness are green. The vehicle is now ready for use. Driving operation For driving, the handle bar is covered with both hands. This activates the light barriers and automatically dissolves the brakes. The movement is carried out by light pressure or pull on the handle bar in the desired direction. Countervailable pressure and train movements enable directional changes and curves to be made. In order to avoid accidents and damage to the vehicle or to objects, jerky steering and driving movements shall be avoided. Notes The transport of persons and dangerous goods is prohibited. Ramps with a slope of more than 5° shall not be used. Driving is only permitted with battery current. Brakes Attention! When releasing the handle bar, the spring pressure brakes grab immediately, which immediately slows down the vehicle. During the journey, the speed reduction is carried out via the electric drive. By reducing the pulling or pressure effort on the handlebar, the speed can be reduced to a standstill. Turn off vehicle For safe parking of the vehicle: Actuate emergency-off switch. Pull the keys off. The vehicle must not be parked on sloping surfaces or ramps. Charge the batteries If the display of the battery voltage changes from green to yellow or yellow-red, the battery shall be charged. To this end: Actuate emergency-off switch. Connect the charger to the charging socket. Turn on the charger. Only the supplied charger with the intended plug may be used. This prevents unintentional start-up during the charging process. Behaviour in case of disturbance If the vehicle stops unexpectedly and does not react to the handlebar, even after a restart via the emergency-off switch, the hand vent levers of the brakes can be brought to the center position. This allows the vehicle to move unbraked. The purpose of this measure is exclusively to eliminate or implement the vehicle. Important Do not push the vehicle at the handlebar in this condition. After setting off, the hand vent levers shall be brought back to the lower end position. Only then is the vehicle in a braked state again.
