The vehicle is currently registered as an emergency vehicle and is used by current civil protection owners. The vehicle is exempted under Chapter 6. Paragraph 9 of the FVTR. Dispenses apply to the current owner. The vehicle is emergency vehicles according to the Traffic Regulation only when used for emergency services, in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency's decision TSV 2017-2212. In case of sale, the current exemption does not automatically transfer to the new owner. The buyer is therefore responsible for the vehicle being reregistered for the new use and for carrying out the required registration inspection. All costs of registration inspection and any measures required for re-registration are borne by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for checking which requirements apply to the intended use and that the vehicle can be registered in the desired design. Any stickers and blue lights and horn may be dismantled on sale if the user is not entitled to use it.
