A selection of post Second World War uniform items to the Parachute Regiment including a NCO's Mess Dress Jacket, red cloth with maroon collar and cuffs, white metal queens crown collar badges, bullion parachute qualification wings and WOII rank crown to right sleeve, interior label marked to 'Sgt B.G Chafer' and dated 1967, together with maroon cummerbund, British army Number 2 Dress Uniform Jacket and trousers, queens crown Parachute Regiment buttons and collar badges, Colour Sergeant insignia to both sleeves, Parachute Qualification Wings to right sleeve, medal ribbon bar for British Empire Medal, General Service Medal 1918-62, UN Cyprus, and army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal to left breast, 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment lanyard to right shoulder, interior label size 17 and dated 1966, green plastic belt, O/Rs tie, and a double breasted blue blazer with Parachute Regiment buttons to the front and cuffs, (qty)
The items belonged to Warrant Officer Class II Brian Chafer who served over 20 years with the Parachute Regiment, mainly with the 3rd Battalion, and 10th (Territorial Army) Battalion as part of the Permanent Staff.
