A Chinese porcelain baluster form vase, having applied blossoming prunus handles to the neck and shoulder, underglaze cobalt blue, hand painted decoration, figures in the round, includes musicians, painted to the flared rim and the base with bands of floral and ruyi head patterns, to the underneath painted in underglaze cobalt blue, with four character marks, reading "Kangxi nian zhi" translates as "Made in the Kangxi reign" (1622-1722) 34cm high. Condition: A small rough area to the rim and two similar to the base, manufacturing bleamishes, no dicernable chips, cracks or restoration.
