Typewriter Continental Wanderer-Werke Siegmar Schönau Chemnitz and typewriter Ideal Seidel and Naumann Dresden Characteristics of the typewriter Continental Wanderer-Werke Siegmar Schönau Chemnitz: Continental Standard (office machine) / Type S104 Color black Production time in the 1930-1940s Heavy table typewriter (cast frame, open construction) Type lever machine with Wagner front impact (face immediately visible) 4-row universal keyboard (German QWERTZ layout) Car switching, edge trigger, tabulator function Characteristics of the typewriter Ideal Seidel and Naumann Dresden: Ideal standard (office machine) Color black Heavy, stationary office typewriter (massive cast frame) Type lever front impact; 4-row universal keyboard (German QWERTZ layout) combined, very smooth wagon switching Both typewriters stood in the attic for 6 years and have not been prepared or cleaned. Also, both machines are no longer fully functional, but it cannot be ruled out that they can be reworked 100% functionally by an expert. The devices show signs of wear corresponding to the age, which give them an authentic vintage character. Placing and wear of the paintwork from the previous use are visible on the frame. The buttons and the trolley mechanism are optically well preserved, but dusty after long storage. A visit on site is possible after prior reservation by telephone. The collection should take place within two weeks of the award of the contract. For legal reasons, no support can be provided when contracting and loading. The purchaser is responsible for loading and transport.
