The town of Lappeenranta sells the buildings of the old Lauritsala fire station in Hakali, Lappeenranna, including 7108 m2 of land according to the property register. The transaction consists of a total of approx. The building was completed in 1931 and was originally built as the Hakali public school, which served until 1959. In 1960 the building was turned into a fire station and a hose tower and two vehicle halls were built in a two - story stone house. The furniture halls, meeting rooms and sauna facilities have been used by Lauritsala VPK until 2025. Currently the building is rented and some of the premises serve as a meeting place for AA and Al-ano groups.
