This rug has full pile, soft and lustrous kurk wool. Extremely fine weave, approx: 12 x 11 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk warps. Few very light tiny safron marks on the field, barely visible also tiny dot like wear to the pile on the cord edge in on corner, barley visible. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this rug is in very good condition. Sought after type on the market and seldom found in the sales. Very attractive and elegant piece.
