The politically tendentious poem is probably a concept (several improvements), titled "Aus Schlaraffien". "... They live in a happy land / In the complete state of nature, / Enjoying existence to the full, / Only little work and much pleasure. / This is the state goal that guides them / Also spread in government circles; / The good people is so manageable, / That they rebel at all inconceivable ..." (22 lines). - The poem, which was not signed at first, bears with other ink at the end "Bauernfeld". - The letter to a publisher with the news that he had continued the "Xenien" promised in Vienna in Ischl "theils due to lack of a better material, partly from a long time and whose well over 800 were available.
