Before the assembly separated, I was commanded to ask you, my dearest friend, that you should have the kindness, Mr. p. Meineke's head as big as Dohm's mind to paint, to the exhibition in the Temple of Friendship ... Just as I write my names, you bring your letter from the 17th ...". Regrets the painter's reputation abroad. "... shall we leave all good artists to foreigners?
