"Scenic prologue for the reception of the members of the German National Assembly. Listed on 6.II.1919" (later heading instead of the crossed-out original heading "Weimar's Prologue to the National Assembly"). 8 pages of comprehensive, complete manuscript, signed and dated at the end, on the important historical event of German history, written by Ernst Hardt as the then general director of the Weimar National Theatre. At the request of a lady for an autograph collector (Hermann Kievy?) he presents it to him and explains it in a letter (with letterhead "The General Director of the German National Theatre and the Chapel") dated 1 January 1895. August 1919: "... Reading your letter coincided with cleaning up my desk, which I want to leave for a few weeks, and then the first transcript and the first clean copy of the scenic prologue, which was put before the members of the German National Assembly, fell into my hands. Since these manuscripts have a certain historical interest at the same time, I hope that you will be able to give the manuscript collector a real pleasure. I send them to you, he may choose or keep them both, just as he likes ..." - The manuscript is more tanned because of paper; nevertheless, as a historical document worthy of museum.
