Congratulations to the turn of the year, here first addressed to a Count (Johann Georg) of Waitz, who probably resided as an envoy of a prince in Hamburg, to whom the letter is actually addressed. - Included a handwritten list "Paroles auf den Monath Julii 1767" with a list of 31 slogans, probably for military purposes, beginning with "1. Baireut 2. Culmbach ..." and ending with "30. Nemmersdorff 31. Sans pareille, signed "Friedrich Christian MzB." Since the signature deviates greatly from that of the Wallsbek letter of 1750, it might come from a writer's hand.
