It is recommended to visit the vehicle by telephone prior to bidding.   The "Trabant 601 Deluxe" (often also de luxe) is an upscale version of the iconic East German small car Trabant 601. built from 1964 to 1990 at the VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke in Zwickau.   Engine: 2-cylinder two-stroke engine with approx. 594 cm3 engine displacement Power: 26 to 29 hp (depending on year of construction and design) Maximum speed: approx. 100 km/h Empty weight: approx. 615 kg Bodywork: Duroplast panelling on a steel frame rib Fuel: mixture 1:50   To refuel the Trabant 601 Deluxe, please note the following points: Mix ratio: Refuel a mixture of 1:50, which means that 1 litre of petrol must be mixed with 50 ml of oil.  Oil quantity: At 1:50 you can refuel 1 litre of petrol and 50 ml of oil. It is recommended to add 300 ml of oil to the tank before refueling to ensure a better mixture.  Tank method: Shake the oil after filling to ensure an even mixture.  Two-stroke oil: Use a partially synthetic 2-stroke engine oil, such as ADDINOL SUPER 2T, for the amount of engine oil.     The vehicle is deregistered.
