Fire truck VW LT 55 with Schlingmann structure The municipality of Hohenroda auctions off-duty Volkswagen LT 55 fire-fighting vehicle with a fire-wehr technical structure of the company Schlingmann. The vehicle was first registered in January 1991 and has an exceptionally low mileage of currently 14,311 km for the age of the vehicle. It was used exclusively in the fire service and during its previous use was mainly sheltered in a vehicle hall. The vehicle is in a well-maintained condition corresponding to the age and the previous use and is ready to drive. The main investigation was carried out in April 2026 and is valid until 04/2027. Furthermore, the vehicle has a special signal system with blue light and Martinshorn. The vehicle includes 6  new winter tyres. Condition: The vehicle is in a well-maintained state of conservation and was in service with the volunteer fire brigade until its decommissioning. The vehicle is ready to go. There is a slight damage to the car body on the driver's side in the rear left. The area concerned is shown on the accompanying photographs. In the area of the steps at the doors, the cover colour is rubbed or peeled off in places by the use. Rust is not present in these areas. The exact condition of the entrance areas is also visible on the accompanying photographs. In addition, the body, paintwork, driver and crew cabin as well as the fire fighting structure are in a well-kept condition. Further damage or technical defects are not currently known to the municipality. The underbody was also documented photographically. Detailed photographs of the underbody as well as the described locations are attached to the auction pictures and give a supplementary impression of the current condition of the vehicle. The main investigation was carried out in April 2026 and is valid until 04/2027. A visit to the vehicle before the bid is made is possible by prior appointment and is recommended. Notes on the former fire truck: The vehicle has so far been used as a volunteer fire service vehicle and is sold as a former fire service car. The special signal system on the vehicle (blue light and Martinshorn) may not be operated outside of the permitted use for this purpose. The acquirer is responsible for compliance with the relevant legal provisions as well as for any changes, withdrawals, acceptances or registrations that may be necessary.
