Condition: The work has been relined many years ago, there is evidence of a number of tears and damages, particularly in the sky, these damages have been filled and restored, the restoration is now starting to deteriorate and lift in places. There is also paint shrinkage and craquelure throughout the work, however the picture does still retain a great deal of dirt & discoloured varnish to the surface.
