the 10 1/2" dial signed Claus Berg, Stockholm, the case signed P.G. Bolinder, of wasted form surmounted by a pediment of carved flowers and rocaille scrollwork, over a yellow ground decorated with gold flowers, raised on cabriole feet, the twin barrel movement united by five baluster pillars with anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell with silk repeater, pendulum and winder present, height 80cm, width 40cm Provenance: Bonhams London, July 2020, lot 270 (The Jacob Collection), Christie's London, Clocks and Watches 22 March 1989, lot 28. Condition: Needs serving - not running or striking, later repeater partially strikes, losses of gilding and paintwork, some pieces of gilt gesso off leg present.
