A large glazed and wooden case, mounted with a male and female Capercaillie, Ptarmigan, and Grouse. With a painted snowscape, and the black painted case with gilded decoration. With a Museum label of information to the reverse and dated 1935, and a stamped mark for 'T Cooper, Taxidermist, Naturalist & Animal and Bird Preserver, High St, Poole. Case 96cms high, 95cms across, 48.5cms deep. Condition: seems in generally good condition for it's age, the painted interior with a few marks and discolouration in places, small chips and losses around the front edges of the case.
