A porcelain inkstand with an Eagle finial and hinged lid, painted with Military figures, horses and flowers on each side, and mounted on an elaborate porcelain and gilt metal mounted base, and supported on four squat feet. With a painted Augustus Rex monogram mark to the base. 17cms high overall, brass lower section 13cms square. Condition: three feet with small chips, some wear to the gilding in places, gilt metal sections with some discolouration and marks over time.
