A rare porcelain figure of a seated Fox Terrier, designed by Willy Zugel, impressed 'Niki' to the side of the base and with attached metal plaque 'Niki, Chards House, Xmas 1930'. With a painted factory mark to the base and impresed mark to the base, Model No 493, and with a wooden stand. 33cms high, with stand 38cms high *This was presumably given as a gift in 1930, Chards House is in Crewkerne close to the Auction Room, and has remained in the family until now. Condition: small firing cracks to the base, small marks to the side of the base, otherwise seems generally fine stand with some wear in places.
