A Royal Worcester part dessert service painted by James Stinton, each painted with a Castle landscape to the centre, and with green borders and gilded decoration. Including an oval lobbed dish painted with Tantallon Castle (27.5cms across), a square lobbed dish painted with Chepstow Castle (25cms by 25cms), and three plates painted with Dunollie Castle, Monmouth Castle and Blarney Castle (22.5cms diameter). Each with printed and painted marks and retailed by Maple. (5). Condition: All with a touch of wear in places. Square dish, seems generally fine, three tiny firing cracks to the rim (minor) oval dish, sounds dull when tapped, some discolouration to the centre of the dish and the back, crazing to the back Dunollie Castle, generally fine, a little discolouration on the back Blarney Castle, small nibble to the back of the rim, otherwise seems generally fine Monmouth, tiny nick to the back side of the rim (minor), otherwise seems generally fine.
