Designed by Stephan Dakon, an Art Deco pottery figure of a lady reading a book, the figure seated on a bookcase with books. With various impressed marks to the base, and model no 7226. 25cms high. Condition: general crazing which is most noticeable on the head, neck, arms and legs, small chip/nick to the underside of the foot, small mark on one hand, bottom half of one leg has I think been restored (lack of crazing in that section), the odd small mark in places.
