A wall plate of lobed shape, carved with scholars and sages within a landscape scene including pavilions, the rim with flowers and leaves. Mounted with a brass rim and footrim, and bearing Qianlong style character marks to the base. 23cms by 22cms. Condition: small cracks to the lacquer around the rim and back of the rim in places and some wear (possibly some small repairs in those areas), some wear to the brass rim and footrim, the back with small cracks in places.
