"Twelve in 1913 created creidelithographies after reprints of Kokoschka's poem of the same name. The spelling of the name Columbus - with K - in the title of the seal or the litho sequence of the 1916 edition corresponds to the version preferred by Kokoschka himself. The writer E. R. White, on the other hand, writes the name C when Columbus ... Kokoschka's poem 'The bound Columbus' dates back to the period around 1908 and was first intended as a continuation of the 'Dreaming Boys', entitled 'The White Animal Killer'." (Wingler-Welz, p. 81f.). – Very good specimen of the grandiose episode. Just the passpartouts partly a little patchy.
