Bloch, Livres 112. – One of 1000 numbered copies on Vélin d'Arches. "Diurnes (Tagfalter) is the result of a collaboration between Picasso, the photographer André Villers and the writer Jacques Prévert. Picasso had cut out numerous heads and figures of people and animals from paper in 1961, further developing a technique already used in 1943. Villers assembled these cut figures on thirty different photographs and put them in realistic contexts and situations. Finally, Prévert told the entertaining story of these short-lived beings from sunrise to sunset." (Kat. Basel 115). – Without the cassette. Inside very good specimen.
