The "Larene Sacrifice", a collection of 79 poems, among them "Auf der Kleinseite", "Der Hradschin", "Bei St. Veit", "Kaiser Rudolf" and "Mittelböhmische Heimat", appeared already Christmas 1895 and probably form a farewell gift to the poet's hometown. Rilke left Prague the following year and moved to Munich. The first publication ("Life and Songs") was published undated in Strasbourg in 1894. – Beautifully preserved, uncircumcised specimen.
