One of 300 numbered copies, monogrammed by the author himself (total edition). With a separate double sheet, which contains a preface of the author dated "Munich, Spring 1901". It is not possible for us to find out if the "second series" of the poem actually appeared. Zaiss (1877-1953) was a physician, poet and translator. He was close to the George Circle and corresponded with Karl Wolfskehl. Poems of him appeared in "PAN", in "Hochland" and in the "Süddeutsche Monatsheften". – Uncircumcised, somewhat tanned specimen. - Rare.
