Loose in OHalf Lines with mounted cover title (sheet a bit flaky and shackled at the edges, inside with a bit of flapping). Plauen, Christian Stoll, o. J. (ca. 1925). Very rare portfolio with Art Deco ornamentation by Plauener artist Paul Siegel. "The panels of this work are made by ERNST SCHAUER Kollier-Kunstanstalt Leipzig.-R." Pochoir color on differently coloured, structured papers, these mounted on yellowish paper, which is mounted on a slightly stronger brown paper; beside it small mounted title plate. The images held in strong colours are usually well illustrated by the different tints of the paper. Seals have often used bird or other animal motifs, including bird of paradise, owl, eagle as well as seahorses and fish. Table 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 & 12 show wall hanging, wall painting and/or carpet patterns, Table 2 a view of a stage, Table 4, 6, 9 & 11 porcelain and a table lamp. The boards show the typical "Leitmotive" on the C. Berents in her work "Art Déco in Germany" points out: C swing, swallow or bow motif, zigzag motif, etc. The "Bookshop for Arts and Crafts" was founded in 1889 by Christian Stoll. Stoll is still detectable in 1900, Schmittner 1925 in the address book of Plauen. The publishing house existed until the early 1940s. – Little spotted.
