Manuscript, pen and pencil, 173 leaves, 8 white leaves, with a total of 291 numbered recipes, dated on the back of the last leaf: "Nottäbenna / END / M:DCC:LXIX", strongly stained and traces of age; contemporary leather ribbon, rest of a closing tape, Cracks, worm canals, heavily damaged, binding loosened, the last 22 leaves ("register") and the back cover almost loose, on the inside of the back lid creaking, numbers and twice the name "Adam Thurner" and once "Thurner" in pencil, 8° (18.5 x 13 cm)

The actual text of the "Arrzeney Piechls" with 290 recipes was written by a hand written, (sheet 146r: "Nottäbennä / END"), the same hand also wrote the register for 290 recipes; a second hand added on sheet 146r,v the text with a 291. A third, later hand (19th century). According to sheet 146, a "translated reggister" has started (lead pen and pen) for 44 recipes with headings for 81 recipes, e.g. "1 Before the khaldte vergicht" / "1 for that cold fermented"
