Danish Rococo commode in oak, 18th century Large four-drawer oak comfort with a strongly shaped/mouvementé carcass, with serpentine front and sides. Moulded drawer fronts and shaped top, raised on convertible legs decorated with C-scrolls and terminating in carved animal/hoof feet. The shaped apron is carved with the initials KHD , arranged around a decorative foliate motif and rocaille ornament. The comforts old brass fittings, locks and key I believe it to be a Danish Rococo commode from the mid-18th century, possibly c. 1750•1770, but I would appreciate your assessment regarding its date, origin and potential auction value.
