In the midst of an art world dominated by Informal since the late 1940s, the painter has been working unwaveringly for decades on his pictorial realities, marked by an increase in colours and expressive sharpening of the figurative. Pfeuffer's themes are landscape and figure, which form two sides of a medal for him in the sense of a holistic view of nature.
