He was born in Hamburg-Rissen, Germany, and died in Hamburg, Germany. From 1951 to 1960, Bianga studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin under Hans Jaenisch, Max Kaus, and Wolf Hoffmann, whose master student he became in the etching class. Between 1958 and 1960 he was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. Between 1961 and 1968, Bianga received a grant from the Berlin City Labour Scholarship.
