Bottom right Dimensions in cm approx.: 24,5 x 15 Biography: Ludwig Schäfer-Grohe (1909 Mainz-1983 Fellbach), German painter, draughtsman and lithograph. Lithograph teaching, 1931 first special exhibition at the Gutenberg Museum Mainz. 1932 Study trip to Italy. 1934 Marriage with the painter and sculptor Susanne Grohe. 1936 Move to Fellbach; Worked with the Stuttgart publishing house and worked as a freelance artist. In own planning: cityscapes, artistic picture maps, painter's journey - books: among others Neckar/Rhein/Tauber. Working in many cities and countries. After Germany and Europe, study trips to distant areas follow: among others 1976 Morocco, 1977 Mesopotania, 1978 Mexico and Guatemala, 1979 Nepal-India-Sri Lanka, 1980 Egypt.
