Edge flaws and scratches, PP. 4 pieces The medals of this movement were issued by the GDR Cultural Union on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the death of the German Democratic Republic. Death of Dr. Richard Sorge, who was executed on 7.11.1944. Anxiety was founded by the scout group Ramsay, who was responsible for the Soviet military reconnaissance and stationed in Japan. The medals show 1) Portrait of Richard Sorge, 2) the portraits of the couple Christiansen-Clausen, who worked as radio operators of the Ramsay group, 3) Radio message, with which the Soviet Union was warned of the attack of the Nazi regime on 22.06.1941, 4) Surnames of the members of the group Ramsay. Due to the scarcity of silver in the GDR, it can be assumed that this set was only applied in very low numbers. The conclusion is that the award of this medal set was probably only reserved for Erich Mielke, Minister of State Security.
