A used tank extinguisher TLF 16/24 Tr will be auctioned on a Mercedes-Benz chassis of the type 917 AF with fire fighting technical structure of the company Ziegler from 1995. The vehicle was in service of the volunteer fire brigade Osterbrock until its retirement in 09/2026.   The vehicle has a four-wheel chassis with single tyres on the front and rear axles as well as a squad cabin for three people. The extinguishing water tank holds 2,400 litres. The fire-fighting centrifugal pump has a nominal output of 1,600 litres per minute at 8 bar. After the last condition found, the engine, transmission and coupling function properly; no problems are known in this respect. The engine starts immediately with the built-in vehicle batteries.   The following defects are known: The odometer has been defective since 27.11.2023 and since then shows unchanged 25,376 km. This display value therefore does not correspond to the actual total driving power. The rear warning device "Triblitz" with three orange flashes is defective. The display of the extinguishing water level does not work properly. In addition, there is a circular sheet metal damage at the rear due to a shunting accident. The vehicle is expressly offered with these known defects.   The digital radio technology and the turn assistant, which may still be visible on the images, are not part of the auction and will be dismantled before the auction begins. Other items of loose equipment and parts of the roof loading that can be seen in the pictures are also not part of the auction scope. Other objects recognisable in the image background are not part of the auction.   The acquisition and further use as a fire brigade vehicle with special signal system presupposes that the purchaser or the intended use of the vehicle meets the statutory requirements. In the case of an acquisition by a fire protection officer or another legitimate organisation, the corresponding authorisation shall be demonstrated.   In the case of an acquisition by private individuals or other unauthorised purchasers, the special signal system, in particular the blue warning lights and the horn, as well as other facilities which are not permitted for the intended civilian use at the expense of the purchaser shall be dismantled professionally. Decommissioning must be completed before taking part in public road transport. A mere non-use of the facilities is not sufficient. The acquirer shall arrange for the necessary technical assessments and the adaptation of the vehicle documents at his own expense. The vehicle shall be presented to the competent registration authority in accordance with its requirements and the conditions for civil registration shall be determined by the acquirer on his own responsibility.   The labels on the driver's and passenger's door, as well as the stickers with the name ‘Feuerwehr Osterbrock' on the shutters, shall be removed from the purchaser at his own expense.    A survey before bid is expressly recommended.
