Autumn Quality Auction

Description

The catalogue for Garpenhus Auktioner’s Autumn Quality Auction is here! You’re served art, craftsmanship, and design from several centuries. The catalogue’s just over 100 lots include everything from antique icon painting to modern silver. There’s plenty to stop and look at. Like the pair of mirrors by Johan Åkerblad. They are made in Rococo style and once hung at Skönabäck Castle. Beautiful forms of another kind are found in Arne Jacobsen’s Egg chairs, which, in terms of color, stand in lovely contrast to William Sweetlove’s bright blue fiberglass pig. From the ceiling hangs “The World’s Fastest Lamp,” and on the walls there are plenty of gems. Bengt Lindström is responsible for two of them. Pelle Åberg offers a scene from a dance restaurant, and then there’s Warhol’s Brillo advertisement, three gilded bridal crowns, a pair of French candelabra, and quite a bit more. Welcome!Show more
