Argenta

Description

They were fired in a kiln at 1,200 degrees. At first they were given decoration in gold, but soon lovely motifs executed in silver took over. The name Argenta suggested itself. Wilhelm Kåge’s Argenta ware was presented at the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930, and it didn’t take long before his decorative pieces in green (there are exceptions!), with painted classical-style figures, sea monsters, and geometric patterns, became the perfect gift for hosts and hostesses, confirmands, newlyweds, and others celebrating anniversaries.
