Season of Light

Description

Welcome to Season of Light at Stockholms Auktionsverk Cologne! As autumn evenings grow longer, a thoughtfully placed lamp can change the feel of a room. A reading corner, a softly lit shelf or a glimmer through textured glass offers a little refuge from the early darkness—and brings that cosy sense of hygge into the home. This auction ranges from Italian design to Scandinavian and German lighting. Ingo Maurer’s Bamboo table and floor lamps bring a distinctive sculptural touch; Erik Hansen’s Sax wall light for Le Klint offers clever, adjustable form. Carlo Nason’s Triangolo pendant for J.T. Kalmar pairs geometry with Murano ice glass. The selection also includes works by Glashütte Limburg and Palwa, as well as a ceramic table lamp by Carl-Harry Stålhane and Kent Eriksson for Designhuset. Explore the collection and find a lamp to make the darker months feel a little more welcoming.Show more
