A Collection of Art: Part 1

Description

Just over 110 artworks are being sold in aid of Strokeförbundet, the Swedish Stroke Association, and thereby research, education, and information about stroke. Yes, that’s exactly how it is when Crafoord Auktioner Malmö presents A Collection of Art: Part 1. The emphasis is on modern Swedish painting from the 20th century, and among the artists are names such as Gerhard Nordström, Kjell Leander Engström, Torsten Esbjörnsson, Gunnar John, Agda Holst, and Aly Ben Salem. Among the highlights is Ellen Trotzig’s “Motiv från Kivik” (“Motif from Kivik”). A muted work by Fabian Lundqvist is worth keeping an eye out for, and if you’re after carefully staged painting with props, there’s a well-balanced still life by Eric Cederberg. Welcome!Show more
