Allcock (Annette) A collection of 20 Christmas card designs, and illustrations, scenes including snowmen, reindeer, nativity, robins, etc., gouache, publishing details and instructions verso, 25.5 by 20 mm, c. 1970 to 2000. ***Annette Allcock studied at The West of England College of Art, from 1941 to 1943. She worked as a greetings card designer, before illustrating a series of children’s books for Methuen. Her style was influenced by the painter Stanley Spencer, a distant relative.
