Of tapering cylindrical form with a cast curved acanthus capped spout opposite a later wooden C scroll handle with scroll junctions, the hinged domed lid with a pull out compressed knop finial to reveal a molinet aperture. Engraved to the side with a crest of a squirrel. Engraved underneath with initials E G * C M over D M over July 1st 1743, the date partially obliterated.
