Ø48mm diameter, approx. 82g, silver, Viennese punches, completely enamelled, 2 paintings outside and 2 paintings inside, work signed Schmit Paris, enamel dial, Breguet pointer, functional and very nicely preserved. The watch is a typical Viennese enamel clock around 1800. The Paris signature is certainly for marketing reasons, as with many German and Austrian watches. There were numerous Viennese watchmakers with the name Schmi(d)t(in different spellings).
